Course News 18 May: Due to last minute changes arising from road changes in the High Street and the Council's concerns about some of the grass at the finish being too soft to support the vehicles for the finish logistics, the start and finish were remeasured by Colin Tether (Grade 1 measurer) on Thursday 17 May. The Start has moved back 71 metres. All mile markers are being adjusted today by this amount. Instead of using Tewkesbury High Street as shown on the map below the revised route proceeds along the parallel roads via Oldbury Road, Nelson Street, Barton Street to the roundabout (south end of High Street) where is rejoins the route down Gloucester Road to the finish field. This adds 27 metres. The new finish is now 44 m from the field entrance which provides the correct race distance for both the half marathon and the 5 mile. New Certificate of Course Accuracy 12/191 issued 18 May 2012.
